8 Days Kenya & Tanzania Safari

Expect a vacation experience that exceeds your expectations as you visit Masai Mara National Park in Kenya, Serengeti National Park famous for wild beast migration, Lake Nakuru famous for flamingos, and one of the seven world natural wonders, Ngorongoro crater area, on this 8-day safari that combines to remarkable destinations, Kenya and Tanzania.

You will participate in activities such as game-watching, sightseeing, photography of the breathtaking and wonderful natural characteristics of the Great Rift Valley, cultural interactions, and so on. In addition, take a hot air balloon journey above Maasai Mara’s thickly populated grasslands to witness Mara’s huge five beasts.

Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve

When you arrive at the airport, our driver-guide will meet you and take you on the 4-5 hour trip to Masai Mara, beginning with a briefing on what will happen during the safari and concluding with a marram road to the park.

The journey includes lunch en route, followed by photography of the magnificent views of the Great Rift Valley escarpment wall. From there, descend the escarpment and continue with the drive, stopping for early lunch in Narok town before completing the two remaining hours to the park, arriving at sunset to refresh and eat dinner.

Day 2 – A half-day wildlife drive and a visit to the Maasai tribe.

Start your day with breakfast and then head to the park for an early morning game drive where you have a chance to see numerous games such as rhinos, lions, buffalos, leopards, elephants, and many more, as well as birds and different tree species. If it is migration season, expect to see wild beasts crossing the Mara River to Kenya for green pastures, and the crocodiles will be busted.

It’s entertaining and stunning. Picnic lunch will be provided while you recover from the hard day’s work. In the late afternoon, you may choose to see the Masai People, who will take you through some of the most memorable and exhilarating performances, intriguing tales, and sites. Return to your lodge for supper and overnight once the sun has set.

Day 3: Depart for Lake Nakuru from Masai Mara National Park.

Begin your day with breakfast, then pack your belongings and go from the resort to Lake Nakuru, which is home to flamingos.

The drive is gorgeous, with views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha; you may stop at Lake Naivasha before continuing to Nakuru, where you will arrive in the evening for supper and lodging.

Day 4: Morning animal watching and departure to Tanzania’s Serengeti National Park

Wake up early in the morning and head to the field for a two-hour drive where you will see flamingos and endangered Black Rhinos. After that, return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out for a drive to Nairobi, where you will have lunch before boarding a shuttle bus to Arusha, Tanzania, for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Depart for the Serengeti National Park, followed by an evening wildlife drive.

After breakfast, check out of the accommodation and proceed to the Serengeti National Park for a wildlife drive. Drive around the park as soon as you arrive for a chance to see a large concentration of wild beasts, zebras, and many animals such as elephants, buffaloes, and many bird species enjoying their tranquility at the park for the whole day.

The Serengeti National Park is well-known for hosting the yearly migration of wildebeest and zebras from Tanzania to Kenya in search of fresh pastures and water. When the activity concludes in the evening, return to the lodge for supper and an overnight stay.

Day 6: After a morning game drive, depart for Ngorongoro Crater in the Serengeti National Park.

After breakfast, go on an early morning game drive to catch up with the early morning risers moving to the field in quest of the day’s food. There is a possibility of witnessing a lion rising in the morning dosage from the sun, as well as elephants, buffaloes, and other animals emerging from their hideouts.

Return to the lodge, rest, have an early lunch, and check out for a long hour journey to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at Olduvai Gorge Museum on the way, and arriving late in the evening for supper and overnight.

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After a great breakfast, pack all of the stuff you will need for the game drive and proceed to the field for the 6-hour game drive adventure you notice the early morning risers getting to the field to locate something to eat as the night watchmen return from a long night of hard labor.

The Ngorongoro Conservation Area is well-known for housing the last few Black Rhinos as well as thousands of other animals roaming around the crater rim. Take in the scenic view of the natural wonder before ascending to the gate for a departure to your hotel for relaxation at the swimming pool, followed by dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Departure from Arusha.

Start your day with a big breakfast, before heading to either Kilimanjaro airport for an outgoing flight or continue on a regional aircraft to Zanzibar for a holiday vacation.
