Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha — Serengeti National Park

After an early morning breakfast, your private Serengeti Great Migration Safari guide will pick you up from Arusha and transfer you to the park, passing through the beautiful high-lying farms of the karutu and Ngorongoro conservation areas, descending into the central Serengeti Park area “Seronera,” one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Serengeti River, which attracts wildlife representing all five continents.

Arrive at lunchtime, check into the pre-arranged lodge for lunch, and then go on an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park, where you’ll see animals like baboons and hippos cooling off on the Serengeti River’s bank.

Days 2-3: Full time day in Serengeti National Park

You can see the Serengeti Great Migration after breakfast. The safari driver will take you through the park’s endless plains, which are home to a diverse range of animal habitats, including great big cats such as thousands of lions, Tanzanian cheetah, leopards, and jackal birds, as well as herbivores such as millions of wildebeest, elephants, zebras, Thompson gazelles, and buffaloes, as well as a variety of bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and rest as the sun sets over the savanna plains of the Serengeti.

Day 4: Set off for Arusha from the Serengeti

Taking a hot air balloon flight across the Serengeti plains after breakfast at the lodge, floating silently over the expanding jungle, spotting wildlife, and admiring Africa’s beautiful scenery as you cross rivers and travel through several small villages.

Return to the lodge, sign out, and be transferred back to Arusha, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or for your return flight in the early evening.
