This exciting itinerary begins and ends at Kilimanjaro International Airport, from which you will fly to Tarangire National Park, where you will spend time exploring this remote region. Visit the Ngorongoro Crater before going to the popular Serengeti.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Arusha Coffee Lodge
You will be met by an Elewana official at Kilimanjaro International Airport, who will transport you to the lodge. Take a walk along the rows of emerald-green coffee plants or relax with a cocktail in front of the fireplace or beside the pool.
Days 2-3: Spend two nights at Treetops |
Taking a tour of the Burka Coffee Estate after refueling with a tasty meal.
Enjoy an alfresco lunch in the estate’s magnificent garden before transferring to Arusha Airport. At this stage, you’ll board the Executive Grand Caravan and travel to Tarangire National Park’s Kuro Airstrip.
Meet Treetops’ private reserve and spend the next two nights at the Tree House after a fast game drive with a Tarangire Treetops guide.
The next day, enjoy a tasty breakfast before embarking on a full day of memorable activities, including organized game drives and game walks, a visit to an authentic Maasai village, and sundowners on Sunset Hill followed by a night game drive. Tree Tops Private Game Reserve is home to buffalo, lion, cheetah, leopard, and elephant.
Day 4-5: Explore the Ngorongoro Crater for a day
Taking an early morning game drive through Tarangire National Park after a hearty breakfast, where you can see some of the highest concentrations of wildlife quenching their thirst in the Tarangire River. Elephant and buffalo populations, as well as zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, and oryx, as well as predators like lion, cheetah, and leopard, are all likely.
Rest for a picnic lunch on the way to the Kuro Airstrip for a scenic ride to the Manyara Airstrip. When you arrive, a representative from The Manor at Ngorongoro will meet you and take you to an authentic African market.
