Your journey begins in Nairobi. We collect you from your hotel or the airport and escort you to Wilson Airport for a morning flight over the Great Rift Valley into the Masai Mara. As the aircraft descends, the patchwork of open plains and acacia woodlands spreads beneath you. Land at the Mara airstrip and meet your guide who will drive you to your lodge.
After settling in, we head out on your first game drive. It is late afternoon when predators stir and herbivores graze lazily. Lions and hyenas move in golden light, offering dramatic sighting opportunities. Return to the lodge for sundowner drinks and dinner under the Mara sky.
Overnight:
Today we spend a full day in the Mara. Rise before dawn to sip warm coffee as the sun begins to rise over the plains. We drive toward watering holes and riverbanks in search of the Big Five plus cheetahs and wild dogs. If we are visiting during migration season we may watch wildebeest cross rivers in a spectacular display of survival and power.
We pause mid‑day for a shaded picnic by an acacia tree. The afternoon continues with game drives as predators and prey follow seasonal rhythms. Return to the lodge for rest and conversation over dinner.
Overnight:
We rise early for a final safari drive in the Mara. As morning light softens the landscape we may catch lions returning from a night hunt or elephants playing in mud. After breakfast we transfer toward the Kenyan border, then cross into Tanzania and continue into the southern Serengeti.
Later in the afternoon we arrive at your lodge or camp, surrounded by rolling plains. We enjoy tea before heading out on a brief sunset drive, easing you into the Serengeti‘s rhythms.
Overnight:
The Serengeti welcomes you at sunrise. Today we head into Central Serengeti, around Seronera Valley, where wildlife congregates around permanent watering holes. Elephants bathe in mud, lions lounge in the long grass, and leopards take shelter in tree branches.
We break for a midday picnic next to a stream as hippos grumble and crocodiles lie motionless. In the afternoon we return to the plains for more sightings. Birds fill the sky overhead and you will hear stories of survival and predator strategy unfolding in real time.
Overnight:
For your second full day you have the freedom to choose where to go. You can head toward the western corridor for cooler riverine landscapes or return to central Serengeti for lion prides. All drives have rest breaks under acacias and poolside afternoons at the lodge.
Overnight:
After breakfast we bid farewell to the Serengeti and journey south toward the Great Rift Valley wall. We drive past coffee plantations and through highland farmlands before descending toward Lake Manyara.
On arrival we settle into our lodge beneath a canopy of forest. In the late afternoon we venture into Lake Manyara National Park. Hippos crowd the shallow soda lake, and flocks of pink flamingo paint the shore. We may see elephants perched on cliffs or tree climbing lions in the fig forest. Return to your lodge for supper by lantern light.
Overnight:
Begin with an early game drive through the forest and lakeshore. This park offers a rare chance to find giraffes in forest shade, baboons roaming treetops, and birds at every turn. Mid‑day we pause at a picnic site overlooking the lake then resume our search for wildlife in the afternoon. Return to the lodge where you can share stories over a warm meal and gallery‑filled lounge areas.
Overnight:
Enjoy a final breakfast with lake views before we depart. You may choose between a morning cultural visit to a nearby village or an early game walk near the lodge. After lunch we drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport. We say our goodbyes before you board your return flight.
